Confidentiality is a founding principle of Piyom Capital. Every piece of information shared with us — by investors, founders, partners, or visitors — is treated with absolute discretion. This Policy defines our binding commitments in this regard.
Zero Disclosure
We never share, sell, or disclose any information to third parties without express written consent.
No Marketing Use
Information you share with us is never used for advertising, marketing lists, or unsolicited communications.
Principle-Bound
Confidentiality is not just a legal obligation — it is a core value embedded in everything Piyom Capital does.
By Appointment
Our investment activities are strictly private. No information about active projects or investors is ever made public.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Confidentiality Policy applies to all information — whether personal, professional, financial, technical, or strategic — that is shared with Piyom Capital by any individual or organisation through:
- Our website contact forms (project submissions, investor inquiries, portfolio access requests).
- Direct email communications addressed to any Piyom Capital address.
- In-person or virtual meetings, introductions, or presentations.
- Any document, deck, or file voluntarily submitted to us for evaluation.
2. What We Treat as Confidential
Piyom Capital treats all of the following as strictly confidential:
- The identity of individuals and organisations who contact or engage with us.
- The contents of any project submissions, business plans, pitch decks, or financial projections.
- The details of any investment inquiries, including the names of potential investors and their stated interests.
- The existence and terms of any conversations, negotiations, or agreements.
- Any portfolio or project information shared with qualified partners under access-controlled conditions.
- Internal analyses, evaluations, and due diligence materials prepared by Piyom Capital.
3. Our Non-Disclosure Commitment
Piyom Capital commits to the following binding obligations:
- We will not disclose your identity, the nature of your inquiry, or any information you share with us to any third party without your prior explicit written consent.
- We will not use confidential information for any purpose other than evaluating or advancing the mutual interest described in your original communication.
- We will not publish, broadcast, or otherwise make public any details of ongoing or past conversations, projects, or investment relationships.
- We will not reference your name, company, or project in any public-facing communication, media, or marketing material without your explicit approval.
All Piyom Capital team members, advisors, and any engaged third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations equivalent to or exceeding those described in this Policy before gaining access to any shared information.
4. Mutual Confidentiality
When Piyom Capital shares proprietary information with potential investors, founders, or partners (including but not limited to portfolio summaries, investment theses, or introductory materials), the recipient is equally bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
By accessing portfolio-level or restricted information on this platform, you agree not to:
- Share, reproduce, or transmit that information to any third party without our prior written consent.
- Use the information for any purpose other than assessing a potential business relationship with Piyom Capital.
- Disclose the identity of any project, company, or individual referenced in materials shared by Piyom Capital.
Formal interactions are typically governed by a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) executed prior to any detailed information exchange. This Policy does not replace, but complements, any such NDA.
5. Internal Access Controls
Access to submitted information within Piyom Capital is strictly limited on a need-to-know basis. Only team members directly involved in reviewing a specific inquiry or project will have access to the relevant information. We maintain internal access logs and review them periodically.
6. Data Storage and Security
All information shared with Piyom Capital is stored in secure, access-controlled environments. We do not store sensitive submitted information in publicly accessible systems, shared cloud environments without encryption, or on personal devices outside of secured infrastructure.
In the event of a security incident that could affect your confidential information, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable in accordance with applicable law.
7. Exceptions
Confidentiality obligations shall not apply to information that:
- Is or becomes publicly known through no breach of this Policy.
- Was already in Piyom Capital's possession prior to disclosure without any obligation of confidentiality.
- Is independently developed by Piyom Capital without use of the confidential information.
- Is required to be disclosed by applicable law, regulation, or court order — in which case we will notify you to the extent legally permissible before making such disclosure.
8. Duration of Confidentiality Obligations
Our confidentiality obligations with respect to any submitted or received information remain in force for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of disclosure, unless a separate written agreement specifies a different term or the information enters the public domain through no fault of Piyom Capital.
